This blog is my story, Bloody Star. Every two weeks, a new chapter will be posted.
It started out as a high school project. I read about Dickens, what made him popular in his time and what makes him popular today. This story was created to imitate him and his style. HOWEVER, now that I'm out of high school, I've made some serious changes. The story starts off with the main character, Edward, but the first draft of my project started off with a side story, or more accurately a prologue. Also, the style is slightly different from before. I even have a few experiments in style that I implement in some chapters; for example, in some of the dream/dreamy sequences, I implement either full or partial stream of consiousness. Overall, this blog is an experiment to see if the story and my writing is any good or not. It's also great practice and a way for me to express my self and my ideas.
A final note: it's probably obvious, but the story is completely fictional. AND, any similarities to real life events/real life people is not intentional. I do base my characters on certain people I know, but that doesn't effect the story very much.
